Monica Njamme, © Warlayirti Arts Center, Balgo Hills, WA
Picture of Bruce Njamme
This painting depicts some of Monica's father's country named Piparr and located south of Balgo, in the Great Sandy Desert. The squares represent different soakwaters in the country. One half of the painting represents a sacred men's area where women are not allowed and the other half represents a women's law area.

USD $4000
Another stellar emerging artist painting out of the Warlayirti Arts Center in Balgo Hills, Western Australia. Monica is the eldest daughter of Nellie and Jimmy Njamme, both senior law people of high degree. Monica has been given permission to paint her father's stories and she has rapidly become proficient and her works well sought after.
